Brad Stine earned the nickname "God's Comic" from The New Yorker, and once you see him work a stage you get why — he's got the frantic, in-your-face energy of guys like Robin Williams and Sam Kinison, but he's aiming it at faith, family, and the everyday absurdities of American life instead of the usual club-comic targets. He was doing this decades before "faith-based comedy" was a category anyone took seriously, carving out space for a Judeo-Christian perspective that's sharp, sarcastic, and never preachy for the sake of it.
